Bear Tracks is the official student-record and registration system: use it for enrolment, your timetable, official grades, exam schedule, fee assessment, records, and graduation actions. Canvas is the learning system for active course content, assignments, quizzes, discussions, announcements, and course-level grades.
Start with the current University Calendar and any Academic Requirements or advisement report available in Bear Tracks, then confirm interpretation with your faculty or department. A planning tool is helpful, but your faculty and official regulations determine whether requirements are complete.
QWhat should I do if a class is full or I get a registration error?
Read the class notes and validate the course in My Schedule Builder, check prerequisites, restrictions, holds, time conflicts, and your active program. Use a watch list if the course supports it, but a notification does not automatically enrol you. Contact the teaching department or your faculty when consent or program-specific help is required.
No. The academic record and fee consequences depend on when and how the change is made. Check the live deadline page and your Bear Tracks fee assessment, and consult your faculty. International students should also ask ISVS about immigration consequences before reducing their course load.
